It is important that you stay on top of your oil maintenance and with our BMW Ultimate Care Oil Services in place, you'll be set for the miles to come. As we've said above, these oil changes are vital to health and performance, but they're also an important factor in your BMW maintenance schedule. By adhering to the schedule or recommend change intervals, you are taking a proactive role in preventing issues down the road.
When you bring your BMW to one of our authorized BMW centers, you'll find a team that's ready to address any issues and concerns that you may have. We know that there can be times when you're uncertain about whether or not you need oil service. In our next section, we'll address that head on.
When involved with your oil maintenance, it is important to know how to identify signs that there is a problem with your oil. There are several different types of signs you may encounter along the road, but the easiest to spot is right on the dashboard with the check-oil light illuminated. When you see this, it typically means that either there isn't enough oil in the system and it needs a refill, or in other cases, your oil needs a simple changing.
Your BMW may produce some odors that you find unpleasant, but its important to understand that are certain smells worse that others. For instance, when you begin to notice distinctly "oily" odors emanating from the engine, you'll also generally encounter plumes of white smoke. This combo of signs suggests more than one definite problem. It can suggest that your oil's health is extremely poor, while simultaneously alerting you to the fact there is a fault in the delivery system itself.
A final example of these signals is the amount of noise you'll hear from your BMW engine. There's a typical amount of noise that your engine creates; however, when you develop oil issues, that noise level exceeds normal parameters. This is due to your oil being unhealthy and unable to do its job of preventing metal pieces of the engine from scraping against each other.
In between oil services, an easy way to check the condition your oil is through physical inspection. When you do this, you'll want to see an oil that is amber in color, translucent in consistency, with little to no particles floating around in it. We encourage you to do this at least once a month, maybe twice, if you're putting heavy miles on your BMW.
When we do oil changes and oil-related services, we only use original BMW parts. These parts are made exclusively for BMW models, straight from the manufacturer itself. This ensures that any replacements made are going to achieve the high performance you've come to expect from your BMW. We use these parts for all service projects, making sure to always put quality first and foremost.
The BMW Ultimate Care Oil Services plan includes unlimited oil and oil filter changes for three years for $225.00 plus taxes and disposal fees, where applicable. Unlimited oil services included are based upon the associated CBS system mentioned above.
Available for all BMW vehicles that have reached 60 months or 60,000 miles and have no current Ultimate Care+ coverage. Plan is available for purchase once BMW vehicle has reached 54 months and has current BMW Ultimate Care scheduled or BMW Ultimate Care+2 coverage.
All work is carried out by BMW-trained technicians using original BMW parts, which come with a 2-year unlimited mileage limited warranty.
